WHY DO WE PLANT FOREST TREES?

We want our forests to remain lush and fulfill their functions. Fresh air and clean water are not taken for granted. Our nature needs us, and we want to help. Tree planting can be fun for kids and team-building activities, strengthening relationships and helping nature.

BASIC INFORMATION ON AFFORESTATION

  • Seedlings are planted on prepared areas according to foresters' plans.
  • A planted forest produces oxygen, has an important soil conservation function, and retains, regulates and filters water.

Nature could handle this on its own, but we assist and accelerate the process. Let's help nature and give back to it.

WHEN IS TREE PLANTING TAKING PLACE?

  • Planting takes place early in spring or late in autumn.
  •  The next reforestation will take place from the end of September and will last for a month. We start at 9:00 AM on weekdays. If interested, arrangements can be made for weekends as well.
  • If you have any questions, please contact our reception on +421 907 826 250 or by email: drevenice@janosikovdvor.sk.

HOW IS THE REFORESTATION PROCESS?

  • We will be reforesting with the help of the Zázrivá foresters.
  •  Following their instructions, we will plant the seedlings.
  • In a few years' time we will enjoy together the beautiful new forest that means so much to us.

DID YOU KNOW THAT ...?

Thanks to ideal conditions for planting tree seedlings, April has been dubbed "Forest Month."

Our first reforestation took place during the spring of 2024. Together we have helped nature and we hope to continue to benefit our countryside.

We are part of reforestation and help nature. She will surely repay us :).
