Cottages Jánošíkov dvor (Jánošík‘s court) are situated under the ridges of Malý (Little) and Veľký (Big) Rozsutec in beautiful country surrounding of national park Malá (Little) Fatra. Unique traditional cottages which preserve original impression of traditional Slovak folk architecture will enhance your feeling of being connected to the nature.

We offer you accommodation which is above standard with overall capacity of 42 beds in 13 rooms. Every room is equipped with private sanitary facility. Splendid and original dishes await for you in our restaurant Jánošíkova krčma (Jánošík’s tavern) which shows artistic portray of Jánošík’s life. Multiple fully equipped kitchens offer the possibility of individual catering.

Every cottage has its own saloon/training room with TV and the possibility to rent audio-visual technique. In order to relax you may spend leisure time in sauna, by grilling, renting bikes, at sheltered fireplace in front of cottages, in playground, by playing volleyball, basketball, football, relaxing in small pool, children may use square window ladders, trampoline and we offer many other attractions for children and adults. Complex of our original pension also provides own parking lot.

Penzión u Juraja - Juraj’s pension (capacity of 16 beds)

Penzión u Juraja (Juraj’s pension) is newly-opened cottage suitable for trainings, lectures, as well as family holiday in attractive surrounding:

When I grilled bacon beneath nearby forest and enjoyed it greatly, an idea occurred me –I should share this feeling with other people. I ate crunchy bacon with my friend Puki and mediated on how to repair cottage beneath us. We led our discussion with our mouth full, about how we’re going to have great fun with our friends and spend quality time with our families there. I still had the grease pouring down my chin when my head (which definitely wasn’t bigger than my basket full of mushrooms) already imagined picture of renewed, cozy, magical little cottage. I still can’t figure out how did I fit it there even with the furnace – miracle, I guess.

But year 1991 was full of miracles, so it didn’t take me by surprise. Then, it was just a small step from there – to memorize the dream and build it in detail (no space for compromises left) underneath the forest. Few years later, when we had a fire in a real furnace and cooked traditional stew in real cozy cottage, I got an idea to share these experiences with even more people. And that is how Jánošíkov dvor (Jánošík‘s court) originated. Therefore you can read these lines and look forward to extraordinary experiences as well. Trust me, from the very beginning we have built and devised everything in a way, which would enchant and delight every guest - including you.
